Insomnia after One Week with New Ayurvedic Solution and Weighted Blanket

It’s been a long week and I should have written this 3 days ago but I didn’t have the weighted blanket before more recently than that. So here is the review of both.

The truth over the past 2 nights is that the Ayurvedic Solution isn’t totally what’s working. The tincture sucks up too much Valerian root versus all the ingredients.

I’ve been taking 3 bottles of other ingredients separately and adding the 3000mg full spectrum CBD oil manually.

I chose to take Kava Kava, L-Theanine, Passionflower and the CBD/CBN combination.

It was giving me more sleep than I’ve gotten in a while and when I added the cooling weighted blanket (15lb), both of us slept better as well. Stacey gets more sleep than I do but here is more broken up. She wakes more often she tells me and that it might be the over the bed speakers that pay binaural beats and isochronic audio to enhance brain wave activation. They are Sonos Bluetooth speakers that I ran the power cables up the wall corners to obviously hide it since I couldn’t run it through the wall.

If you have Amazon Prime, make use of the binaural and isochronic music available there and make a playlist of those tracks. It’s included with your Prime subscription so why not use it.

Be Mindful, Meditate, practice good nutrition and hygiene, set a wake up and sleep time and adhere to them no matter how tired you are, you must stay awake until your designated sleep time because one tiny nap can ruin sleep.

Homemade CBD and Custom Terpene “oil”

Through this painful journey I’ve been on, not finding products or relief from pain killers, procedures, creams, high dose CBD products and only having luck with ONE CBD strain, I decided to delve into why this one particular strain worked better than anything and did it quickly, lasted a long time and had no druggy after effects.

After doing the research on the strain I was smoking, I found out a lot of interesting things:

  • I did research to find out the Terpenes and labels of each one in this particular strain and I came up with this: These 4 Terpene isolates were found in high levels – Myrcene, Beta-Carophyllene, Linalool and Pinene. These 4 particular Terpene isolates are known for their pain relieving qualities. A few other pain reducing Terpenes in lower concentrations were Humulene, Ocilene, Terpinolene and Limonene.

So what did I do? I went onto Amazon and found a 4 pack of dietary (ingestible) terpenes made by Elevation Terpenes that was 45 dollars for the 4 pack and then bought CBD isolate powder, 3 grams of it to start off with which was around 88 dollars but will last a long time. The CBD isolate powder I bought from the CBDistillery as a quantity of (3) 1 gram purchases using a 10% off coupon of “CBDMOVEMENT”.

So I started to play with different combinations of ingredients knowing that you can’t go wrong with any combination. The best combination to date with the greatest effects was mixing Myrcene and Beta-Carophyllene together in a 2:1 ratio to each other and then adding about 40-50mg of CBD powder. So it ends up being 60-70mg total. 20mg of terpenes and 40-50mg of CBD powder. Then take it under the tongue like you would a CBD oil, not all of it, just what looks like a common sense amount but remember you can’t overdose on this, you can only run out quicker using more. Perhaps get jars, a dropper, coconut oil and milligram measuring capability to do this whole thing right. Obviously to get the full effect you want to use all 4 of the Terpenes included in the pack so a dropper bottle and measuring methods should be on your list.

Yes, the initial investment may be costly but it won’t cost as much after your first dropper bottle is empty and it’s time to make more..

If you have any questions about using all terpenes, CBD powder and MCT oil such as coconut oil and combining them right, just email me and I’ll help you with probably the best and strongest home made pain remedy that’s a 99% pure CBD with full spectrum ingredients.

CBD Tinctures and Extreme Pain Conditions

So as we say, CBD is a panacea, a cure-all. The problem I’ve found with CBD is yes, your body gets used to the higher doses and lower doses you take pretty quickly and requires more to give you the same effects.

I used to take 2500mg bottles which would be 2 dropper full doses in AM and PM. Simply put, this hasn’t cut it for a while as 166mg of CBD a day isn’t enough (2500mg รท 30ml = 83mg per dose in AM and PM).

I had to swap out my 2500mg CBD bottles for 4 doses a day, 2 AM and 2 PM equalling 167mg per dose from a 2500mg bottle total or do what I did which is step up to the next sized bottle of 5000mg where each of 2 daily doses is 167mg AM and PM.

Sure you will pay more for a 5000mg bottle but it will last you longer than doubling up your doses on a 2500mg bottle.

For those with severe pain illnesses, insomnia, etc, higher doses of CBD will have greater effects especially if you add any dosage of CBG to the mix.

Since adding a 1000mg 30ml bottle of CBG, cannabigerol, the compounding effects have cut down my pain a notch or two and helping the insomnia by increasing sleep by at least 2 hours a night.

Just like any medication or supplement, your body’s endocannabinoid system can get used to CBD thus requiring you to increase your dose eventually on a constant taper up schedule.

Are there ways around this?

Yes. If you buy CBD wax or shatter, aka CBD in extremely pure forms, you can smoke it and feel the effects immediately before sleep or watch the pain subside at the beginning of the day.

Smoking high concentration CBD flower buds which are full spectrum by nature containing very useful terpenes for sleep and pain control depending on the strain and exactly what terpenes are in high quantities such as Myrcene, Pinene, Linalool, Terpinolene, beta-carophyllene to name a few. Before you buy a high CBD strain of flower, do some research on the strain on Leafly.com as all known THC and CBD strains are listed there which includes what they are best used for medically and what you will feel. Smoking CBD is safer than vaping it unless you have a Volcano vaporizer which vaporizes instead of combusts the flower so you inhale the medicine and not the other toxins.

How and what you end up taking is eventually up to personal preference, cost of product and your own research.

Best of luck.

CBDistillery: Taking the Guesswork Out Of Dosing.

I’m sure you’ve seen it. Everyone’s seen it. A bottle of CBD that says “750mg” or “2000mg” of CBD. These are of course 30ml bottles as normal.

What most people think is that per dose, per single dropper dose, they are getting what the bottle says. For example, if the bottle says 2000mg then their dose per dropper full is 200mg.

That is NOT how this works and we are sorry if you’ve been suckered into a product for this reason only.

You have to factor in the following: 2000mg PER 30ml thus per dose, what you are getting is 2000 divided by 30ml. That means 66.67mg of CBD per dose. It’s a total of 2000mg per bottle, hence why people get confused.

The CBDistillery has completely redone their labeling over the past few months to remove this dosing confusion.

Instead of the total amount of CBD per bottle listed on the label, their newer labels give you the amount of CBD per dose, per dropper full. This completely removes the confusion for everyone all around.

I’m sure some of the other top brands will soon follow suit because no one wants a confused customer as a repeat customer.

The [CBDistillery] is still one of the top gimmick free CBD companies, potent, pure reports and in this market, that’s what you want.
