I’m sure you’ve seen it. Everyone’s seen it. A bottle of CBD that says “750mg” or “2000mg” of CBD. These are of course 30ml bottles as normal.
What most people think is that per dose, per single dropper dose, they are getting what the bottle says. For example, if the bottle says 2000mg then their dose per dropper full is 200mg.
That is NOT how this works and we are sorry if you’ve been suckered into a product for this reason only.
You have to factor in the following: 2000mg PER 30ml thus per dose, what you are getting is 2000 divided by 30ml. That means 66.67mg of CBD per dose. It’s a total of 2000mg per bottle, hence why people get confused.
The CBDistillery has completely redone their labeling over the past few months to remove this dosing confusion.
Instead of the total amount of CBD per bottle listed on the label, their newer labels give you the amount of CBD per dose, per dropper full. This completely removes the confusion for everyone all around.
I’m sure some of the other top brands will soon follow suit because no one wants a confused customer as a repeat customer.

The [CBDistillery] is still one of the top gimmick free CBD companies, potent, pure reports and in this market, that’s what you want.
So you’ve heard me or another author write “CBG aka the mother of all Cannabinoids” and wonder what exactly that means because there, as you know, are many cannabinoids starting at THC and CBD and then the sub cannabinoids like CBC, CBN, etc.
What is CBG? CBG stands for cannabigerol. Found naturally in marijuana, it is the precursor molecule of both CBD and THC.
During growth of the cannabis plant, CBG is continuously converted to THC and CBD via specific enzymes in each plant activated by light, heat, moisture, humidity, pressure, nutrition, stress, etc and converted to literally every known cannabinoid.
During this cannabinoid life cycle, it’s concentration hovers around 1% which is about 20 times lower than the cannabinoid THC. The lower the concentration of CBG makes it harder for those to find the exact efficacy of CBG.
Above is the life cycle of CBG and how natural enzyme reactions and effects of chlorophyll help CBG become CBD, CBC and THC.
Cannabinoids THC, CBD and others like CBG have been found to work much better together than in an isolated form (isolate versus broad or full spectrum for example). Synergistic effects and interrelationships are very important in medicine, however, mainstream pharmaceutical practice generally ignores this fundamental by offering a new medication that is more of an isolate with a broader reach of effects than a combination of 2 medications to fulfill your neurotransmitters and endocannabinoid system receptors CB1 and CB2 but this mostly has to do with fulfilling the entourage effect.
Specifically: CBG does not trigger THC-like activity in rodents and primates, verifying that it is not an intoxicant, not psychoactive. In rodent models, CBG taken alone in high doses (80 mg/Kg – comparitively a rather high dose) did not promote locomotor suppression (depressed motor skills), catalepsy (extreme couch lock), hypothermia or analgesia (medicinal marijuana pain relief). So you can’t assign any psychoactive effects on cannabigerol in any dose to any motor or neurological system yet. Researchers need natural CBG in much higher concentrations in natural forms. But the one thing we know for sure is that both CB1 and CB2 are activated by CBG, not either/or, making adding CBG to any single isolate or broad spectrum to full spectrum product simply due to cross transmission in your endocannabinoid system’s receptors beneficial. Example: a high CBD isolate may effect CB1 while adding CBG to the mix would have an effect on CB2, doubling up on the effect of 2 Cannabinoids taken by two different angles affecting all ECS receptors is the definition of entourage effect.
I know that is all quite technical but if you read it twice or thrice and understand the body’s ECS it makes perfect sense.
CBG EFFICACY – SUMMARY OF RESEARCH FINDINGS
CBG has shown potential for alleviating neuropathic, inflammatory and other pain in animal studies. CBG might even have a higher efficacy than CBD. CBG can modulate the uptake of GABA in the brain (most of you are familiar with gabapentin/neuronten for example), to decrease anxiety and reduce muscle tension. GABA’s principal role is to reduce neuronal excitability throughout the nervous system. GABA is also directly responsible for the regulation of muscle tone.
Lab tests showed that CBG is an antidepressant similar to imipramine. Imipramine, or Tofranil is a tricyclic pharmaceutical antidepressant. It is mainly used in the treatment of major depression and enuresis. Being a cannabinoid, CBG’s safety profile is extremely high, making it a candidate to replace pharmaceuticals with a multitude of toxic side effects.
Inflammation, digestive conditions
It has been shown to improve inflammatory bowel disease, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease in lab findings. Obviously, this promising finding invites clinical study in humans.
CBG boosts the body’s natural skin moisturizers, holding promise for dry-skin syndromes and promotes full hydration, which makes the face look much younger.
CBG has neuroprotective properties, with hypothetical efficacy in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases from Huntington’s disease and multiple sclerosis (MS) to Alzheimer’s, ALS, Parkinson’s, dementia and others to make a few.
CBG is showing promising properties in vitro for the potential treatment of a broad range of cancers, including breast, liver, lung, pancreatic, skin, ovarian, renal, bladder and colon cancer as well as malignancies that turn metastatic. It is thought to believe that CBG has anti-angiogenesis benefits (cuts off the blood supply to the cancers or tumors killing then from the inside out without toxic side effects of chemo or radiation. (See also Rick Simpson Oil aka RSO).
Cannabigerol has been shown to relieve intraocular pressure, which is the cause of glaucoma.
—- CBG INTO THE FUTURE
Cannabis alchemists round the world are seeking to produce high CBG strains, using selective breeding combined with genetic testing. It would seem that efforts would focus primarily on the shutting down the enzyme system that converts CBG into THC or CBD full stop. There may be environmental factors to manipulate the action of the focal enzymes (CBG to THC) such as nutrients, lighting, stress. Perhaps starving the plant of certain amino acids might work?
In any event, professionals from around the web are predicting we’ll see high CBG strains = 5%+ in the near future.
THE LEGAL STATUS OF CBG
CBG itself a Scheduled substance in the US, Canada, Europe and the rest of “the free world”.
However, extracts of any component of the cannabis plant are illegal in many areas. Today, Cannabinoids THC and CBD from cannabis plant are Schedule I controlled substances, laughably in the same class as heroin, crack and other dangerous narcotics.
CBG and other cannabinoids are left alone for now, however, if its use goes viral, the reflex action of the DEA, based on precedent with the non-psychoactive CBD, is to label it Schedule I, despite having no psychoactive effects, low in toxicity, is a naturally occurring substance and it may be highly medicinal.
CBG coming soon? You won’t find many CBG marijuana strains currently on the market, but thanks to breeders like those at TGA genetics Subcool Seeds, the breed Mikey Kush exists. Mikey Kush strain is a Sativa-dominant strain testing with high levels of CBG and THC levels of 28.6%. CBG marijuana strains are becoming more available in Europe, and will most likely start to be seen on the shelves in North America soon. Research will surely continue, and as public interest increases, growers will be encouraged to produce high-CBG strains themselves.

As you know, the vaping industry has exploded with mods, drippers, pod units, pre filled CBD cartridges and then some.
Recent journal stories in such publications as the New England Journal of Medicine posted a study from the end of 2016 with regards to chemicals in vape, the damage to lungs, the eventual dropping of oxygen saturation due to lung damage, popcorn lung, aldehydes, diacetyl and other cancer causing agents.
In one day in Michigan and Minnesota, 11 kids around 20 years old average were admitted with extremely low oxygen saturation, saturations below 85% which is highly dangerous to your organs and especially your brain. Less oxygen saturation causes brain damage with consistent use. For example my oxygen saturation is a steady 98% and higher which are great numbers. I rarely vape CBD through the pod I have because I don’t like the two vaporized chemicals of propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin which is what causes these cancerous and harmful products to be produced. These two solvents add moisture to the lungs which in turn creates a breeding ground for bacteria and fat. What ends up happening is a disease called eocinophilic pneumonia. Rare and very damaging to your lungs. It’s not the CBD, or nicotine, it’s the carrier oils that make the CBD, nicotine and especially THC vaporizable.
Use CBD tinctures properly for the same effect that’s cleaner and without these chemicals that cause cancers and other nastiness.
Take what you read with a grain if salt if need be but the evidence is out there and it gets worse every day as more and more reports come out about vaping as more and more vaping products hit the market and more and more cities and eventually started like California ban them completely.
If you must vape CBD, use a pod or CBD pod which uses very low wattage which actually releases far fewer chemicals into your body and reduces the chances of popcorn lung and cancers. Do NOT vape THC products/oils as the incidents of problems with people almost dying have been linked to vaping THC specifically.
Some people think that because they are vaping a product that inhibits cancer growth they figure then that vaping it isn’t bad but they don’t take into consideration lung damage and organ damage due to low oxygen saturations.
About 6 weeks ago I bought for testing a product that people spoke about and I know now that people spoke about it due to price alone. After the first time sale they offer everyone which is 50% off your entire order, a bottle of 5000mg 60ml “full spectrum” vape e juice ended up being $84 USD. Double the normal amount per jar for 1/4th the price with no proofs in terms of lab reports or list of ingredients. Pound for pound, a bottle of 1500mg full spectrum vape e juice at any higher quality company, would start around 84 to 100 dollars USD; and that’s for 30ml.
The 5000mg full spectrum vape oil offered by this company, 24kcbdplus, is completely watered down and comes without a lab report. If you ask for one, and I’ve used multiple email addresses to do this, you get the same answer: oh we just sent it out for testing so we should hear back soon from the testing lab within a week. Meanwhile almost a month went by until it reached 29 days since I purchased and then called to demand a refund. The funny thing? They didn’t want me to mail them the rest of the product back which includes a completely sealed bottle of vape liquid.
I received no description of ingredients and a product that constantly gave me terrible headaches with all their fake reviews on their website of people ranting and raving about this product. Truthfully, it reminds me of hemp oil with no CBD, just herbs that are maybe supposed to have the effects of CBD, but you can’t spoof the Entourage effect. Nope!
Now they are offering a product following the lead of other more potent name branded CBD products called “Nano CBD” isolate. It’s tested at 99.65% pure but here’s the thing, they tell you it contains a very small amount of THC. Isolate is, by definition, the purest form of CBD, usually in powder or crystalline form, that’s been processed to be close to 100% pure with NO other chemicals such as trace amounts of THC or plant terpenes and cannabinoids. It should be CBD ONLY, hence the word “isolate”.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
They don’t know the caveats of CBD and their products ruin the industry by offering it at such a low price with constant 50% off sales to get you to buy from them once, and their inability to show a lab report tells me they are not interested in repeat customers, only in that initial sale because they know their product is utter crap. High quality CBD at low prices means it’s crap or hemp oil that is NOT rich in CBD. Look on Amazon, they carry hemp oil products that have barely any to no CBD. Just like this terrible site.
Stay away from the 24kcbdplus website and products and pay the extra amount on real CBD products such as from CBDistillery or Premium Jane to name two of my favorites besides Green Roads, Lazarus or Charlotte’s Web which define the 5 gold standards.
You will benefit greatly from such better products from such better companies, companies that give you information on their growing practices, distilling methods, bottling forms and per-batch lab reports because they want you to be a customer for life, not a one time buyer.
